A Vibrant Spring Celebration at Grace Baptist Church
Step into a blooming paradise, where the joy of the season meets the sacred beauty of your union. At 5 Stones Florist, we were honoured to transform Grace Baptist Church into a breathtaking Spring wonderland for our couple’s wedding day. This gallery showcases how fresh, colourful florals can create a cohesive and stunning narrative from the moment guests arrive until the final “I do.”
The Entrance: A Grand Welcome
The first impression sets the tone for the entire celebration. We created a stunning wooden floral arch for the entrance, adorned with a lush and vibrant mix of seasonal blooms.
- Floral Palette: Roses, Delphinium, Matthiola, Eustomas, Carnation and delicate cherry blossoms, with trailing jasmine and eucalyptus for a soft, romantic feel.
- The Look: A generous, overflowing arrangement that framed the church doors perfectly, inviting guests into the celebration with colour and fragrance.
The Aisle & Pews: Guiding the Way
We lined the solemn walk down the aisle with elegance and colour. Our pew posies, tied with crisp white sashes, added a touch of beauty to every row without obstructing views.
- Design: Small, tight bouquets in the same vibrant Spring palette, securely attached with wide white satin sashes that complemented the church’s interior.
- Effect: Created a continuous thread of colour and fragrance, guiding the eye—and the bride—toward the altar.
The Altar & Solemnisation: The Sacred Focus
The altar is the heart of the ceremony. We designed lush altar flowers and a solemnisation centrepiece that provided a magnificent backdrop for the exchange of vows.
- Altar Arrangements: Two large, statement pieces flanking the altar, using a mix of tall delphiniums and snapdragons with full, low blooms to create dimension and grandeur.
- Solemnisation Centrepiece: A low, wide arrangement at the base of the podium where the couple stood, ensuring they were the focus amidst a frame of beautiful flowers.

The Bride & Groom’s Chairs
We designated the couple’s seats with subtle elegance. The bride and groom’s chair decor featured smaller, matching floral arrangements tied with the same white sashes, marking their special place during the ceremony.
The Welcome & Reception
The floral journey began right at the welcome sign decor. We adorned the sign with a small, custom arrangement to make the first point of contact feel special.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with beautiful reception flowers in the church hall, seamlessly carrying the Spring theme from the sacred to the celebratory.
