Introduction:
A celebration of love unfolded at the Amara Sanctuary Resort Hotel Sentosa. From our first meeting with Adrian & Chrischelle in November 2018, their chemistry was inspiring. Their vision was clear: an elegant Holy Matrimony at the hotel’s beautiful glass pavilion, followed by a romantic, European-style dinner.
The Theme & Colour Palette:
The couple chose a timelessly elegant white theme, perfectly complemented with soft green accents. This sophisticated palette created a clean, romantic, and fresh atmosphere throughout both ceremony and reception venues.
The Focal Point: The Floral Wedding Arch
Chrischelle wanted a floral wedding arch for both the ceremony and dinner entrance. The arch symbolizes the blossoming of new life as the newlyweds walk through it, marking the true beginning of their ceremony. We designed a lush arch that matched the white and green theme, serving as a stunning visual anchor.
Aisle & Ceremony Decor:
For the aisle, the bride loved the romantic and dreamy look of Baby’s Breath. We created elegant aisle decor that ranged from discreet to luxurious, ultimately opting for a style of simplicity and elegance that aligned perfectly with the overall theme.
Reception & Dinner Table Design:
- Reception Table: A simple, elegant layout with green and white floral centerpieces, accented by small candles for a warm, welcoming glow.
- Dinner Tables: To achieve the romantic European style, we used long runners, lush floral garlands, and delicate fairy lights down the center of each table. This complemented the venue’s existing lighting to create an unforgettable, elegant atmosphere.
The Floral Selection:
We used a curated selection of blooms to bring the theme to life:
- Main Flowers: Hydrangeas, Roses, Peonies, Eustomas
- Fillers: Green Eryngium, Baby’s Breath, Freesia, Green Poms
- Greenery: Pittosporum, Eucalyptus, Fern
Conclusion:
It was a perfect way to end the year—crafting this elegant wedding at the stunning glass pavilion of Amara Sanctuary in Sentosa. Each detail, from the symbolic arch to the candlelit tables, was tailored to reflect the couple’s unique love story.
